The swoosh of this shooting star award gives drama and movement to the sculpture. Available in 3 colors; silver, gold and chocolate copper, the finish is a complex combination of antique and bright finishes for an extraordinary effect. The cast metal is polished to a bright finish and plated in copper, silver or gold. Then the outer surface is darkened and burnished for a rich patina. After the antiquing, the outline of the star is polished again to bring out a contrasting outline of gleaming color. The extrordinary finish of the Aurora is combined with a black nickel finish cast metal base to create an exceptional award. The plate for your imprint is either black brass or black aluminum to compliment the star figure.
